Chicken with Peppers and Onions


Low carb meals can seem daunting because, let’s face it, carbs make meals fun! At least for me they do! This low carb meal will leave you feeling full and satisfied of various flavors and yummy goodness!

Chicken and Peppers


4 Ounces Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast

1 Orange Bell Pepper

1 Yellow Bell Pepper

¼ Cup Chopped Red Onion

1 Tbs Grape Seed Oil

Dash of Black Pepper

Pinch of Salt Substitute


  1. Heat the skillet with 1 ½ tsp of grape seed oil
  2. Chopped your peppers and place in the skillet with the chopped onions
  3. Add black pepper and a pinch of salt substitute
  4. Once the peppers and onions are tender, plate the veggies
  5. Pour 1 ½ tsp of grape seed oil into the skillet and place your chicken in the oil
  6. Cover your skillet to allow the chicken to cook through while absorbing the flavor of the grape seed oil, peppers, and onions while remaining moist
  7. Turn the chicken over and cook through and add black pepper and salt substitute to bring out the flavors
  8. Place your chicken on top of your peppers
  9. Add basil to garnish
